Hellboy II: The Golden Army (2008)

I have been a fan of the fantasy genre since I can remember.

Growing up watching The Legend with Tom Cruise, or Willow...

I have always enjoyed beeing taken to place different than my own.

The first Hellboy was amazing, really across the boards for me.



Del Toro has made some beautiful films,

but for me this one fell a little short of what I expected.

I don't regret seeing it, just the eye candy,

and visuals made it worth seeing. But it was slow,

you really felt like you were sitting there for ever,

I know its long....2 1/2 hours, but you felt every minute of it.



It just felt like it could have been edited down to make it more enjoyable,

but I would imagine that Del Toro didn't have any scenes that

he wanted to remove because of their visual content...IronMan,

and Hulk were better,

but this one is at LEAST worth seeing in the theaters

if you are into fantasy at all.
